Terms of Use — Reflexor

1. License

Reflexor is proprietary software. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the product through official Reflexor channels (including sideloaded pre-release VSIX builds and, when published, the Visual Studio Marketplace). Open-source dependencies remain under their own licenses.

2. Nature of the product

Reflexor uses AI models on the embedded local engine and, when enabled, optional remote features (Web Search / Web Research / MCP). Outputs may be incorrect, incomplete, or unsafe. You must review suggested code and commands before accepting them.

Agent mode is experimental in this alpha. File writes and shell runs require approval unless you explicitly enable session auto-approve.

3. Preview / pre-release

This build is a pre-release. Behavior and defaults may change. Sideload packages are for dogfood evaluation, not production-critical use.

4. Web features

Web Search and Web Research are on by default in this alpha. Using them may send search queries or fetch approved URLs according to the Privacy Policy. You can disable them in Settings and must comply with third-party provider terms.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Reflexor to violate law, harm systems you do not own, or bypass security controls.

6. No warranty

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED “AS IS”, WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. Rights holders are not liable for damages arising from use.
