Terms of Use - Reflexor
Last updated: 2026-08-15
Applies to: Reflexor extension 0.3.0 (preview, release channel)
1. License
Reflexor is proprietary software. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use it through official Reflexor channels, including the Visual Studio Marketplace release channel, Open VSX, and sideloaded preview VSIX builds. Open-source dependencies remain under their own licenses.
2. Nature of the product
Reflexor uses AI models on the embedded local engine and, when enabled, optional remote features (Web Search, Web Research, and MCP). Outputs may be incorrect, incomplete, or unsafe. Review code and commands before accepting them.
Supported platforms in this preview are Windows x64, Linux x64, and macOS Apple Silicon (darwin-arm64). macOS Intel and linux-arm64 are not Marketplace targets. Primary editors are VS Code and Cursor; VSCodium may use a compatible VSIX through Open VSX but is not a primary QA target.
Agent mode is experimental. File writes and shell runs require approval unless session auto-approve is explicitly enabled.
3. Preview
This candidate is being prepared for the Marketplace release channel. Behavior and defaults may change. Sideload packages are for evaluation, not production-critical use.
4. Web features
Web Search and Web Research are off by default. Use after consent or Settings enable may send queries or fetch approved URLs according to the Privacy Policy. You must follow third-party provider terms.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use Reflexor to violate law, compromise systems without authorization, or bypass security controls.
6. No warranty
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED “AS IS”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES. Rights holders are not liable for damages arising from use.
